The Groups Sales team were out in force at the recent Travel & Tourism Show at NEC Birmingham.

This trade event focuses on meeting current and potential new group tour operators from around the world.

I spoke with our Managing Director, Andrew Simpson:

At the show we met with dozens of our Travel Trade partners who work with us from across the globe. With the exchange rates being favourable, there’s quiet confidence that the UK is going to have a bumper Tourism season from incoming vacationers.  Also we saw many of our hotel partners as well as seeing some hopeful new ones too.  All in all it was a very encouraging show for the Tourism sector in general.

The team also met with a number of potential new hotels who were keen to join myhotelbreak.com. We are looking forward to promoting the following hotels on our site and we are in discussion to ensure we deliver the best deals available:

Petwood Hotel, Lincolnshire – used to be the HQ for the Dambusters in WW2

SHL Hotels – a collection of stunning 4, 4* hotels throughout England

Brend Hotels and their collection of 8 properties in Devon and Cornwall

Lavender Hotels and their 6 properties in Lancashire

Deluxe Needham House Hotel in Hertfordshire

Corus Hotels across the UK

Wembley International Hotel, London

North Lakes Hotel, Penrith

Rosetted Mayfield House Hotel, Cotswolds

Mackenzie Hotels, Norfolk

Mercure Hotels in Scotland
